As the Olympic Torch Relay is only a few miles away from its final destination of Vancouver, this morning (February 8th) the torch made its way through Maple Ridge, BC just a few miles outside of host city.

TORONTO, ON – The Canadian Ball Hockey Association (CBHA) High Performance Program has named its leadership team for Women’s Team Canada in preparation for the World Championships in Bratislavia, Slovakia in 2011. A mix of new and seasoned staff, the leadership team’s priority will be to build an exceptional national women’s team capable of defending the country’s golden position on the world stage in 2011.

Toronto, ON – Canadian Ball Hockey Association High Performance Program is pleased to announce Canada’s Men’s National Ball Hockey Team has already starting to take shape for 2011 and there will be some familiar faces heading into Bratislava, Slovakia for the ISBHF Men’s World Street & Ball Hockey Championships in 2011.

TORONTO – November 26, 2010 – On behalf of the Canadian Ball Hockey Association, its Minor Council and the CBHA High Performance Committee we are proud to announce the 2010 U16 & U18 Junior Team Canada rosters for the 2nd World Junior Championships to be held in Most, Czech Republic in early June 2010.

TORONTO – November 30, 2010 – On behalf of the Canadian Ball Hockey Association and its Minor Council we are proud to announce the 2010 Junior U-20 Team Canada roster for the 6th World Junior Championships to be held in Villach, Austria, in June 2010.

There is presently much speculation as to the impact that the H1N1 virus will have on Canadians over the next few months. Organizations have been urged to stress to their members steps that should be taken to prevent the spread of the virus, and to have plans in place to alleviate any hardships that may come of the spread of H1N1.
