International Street and Ball Hockey Federation Elects Its Third President

This past weekend in Paris at the ISBHF AGM meetings Mr. George Gortsos from Ontario was voted as the new President of the International Street and Ball Hockey Federation. The vote was unanimous and had the full support of the International membership.
The Canadian Ball Hockey Association is now well under way for planning our 2012 Events. Host committees of Provincial Associations are also hard at work to ensure great events for teams.

On behalf of the Canadian Ball Hockey Association, the Board of Directors have received and accepted the resignation of Mr. Domenic Di Gironimo, CBHA President, effective November 21, 2011.
À la plus récente assemblée générale annuelle de l’Association canadienne de hockey-balle, les provinces membres ont reconnu la nécessité d’élargir le conseil d’administration. Pour ce faire, trois nouveaux postes ont été créés et un qui existait déjà à été remanié.
At the recent Canadian Ball Hockey Association Annual General Meeting, the member provinces have recognized the need to expand the Board of Directors. As such three new positions have been created along with a shuffle of one of the current directors to one of the new positions.
TORONTO, ON - The Junior Team Canada Program along with the Minors Council and the Canadian Ball Hockey Association are pleased to announce the 22 player rosters for the U16 & U18 Junior Canadian teams preparing for their venture to the 3rd World Ball Hockey Championships from June 19-23, 2012 being hosted in Pisek & Strakonice, Czech Republic.
CONCORD – September 14, 2011 - On behalf of the Canadian Ball Hockey Associa-tion, its Minor Council and the CBHA Junior Team Canada High Performance Committee, we are proud to announce the 2012 Junior U-20 Team Canada staff for the 7th World Junior Championships to be held in Pisek, Czech Republic in June 2012. Canada is attending the 2012 after capturing gold at the past two events, 2008 (St. John’s, Newfoundland) and 2010 (Villach, Austria) and is the events only three time champion.
Canada's Men's National Team has advanced to the Gold Medal game at the 2011 World Ball Hockey Championships in Bratislava, Slovakia with a 6-5 win over USA in the semi finals.
